Dismantling SEO Myths

As in business, nothing is constant and absolute in SEO. But with knowledge, you can get rid of the myths about SEO in order to avoid waste of your time and energy.

Myths about SEO is probably the most damaging is the guarantee of success. Remember this: SEO is a moving target and the target with a certain time period, "guarantee" of success on an SEO method has proved ineffective. SEO from year to year changes, even the more narrow the count is not just a matter of years but a matter of months.

Keyword meta tags: after years of mystery surrounding meta tags keywords, be assured that this time google does not use this data to determine the results of the search position. Although you may want to use the keyword meta tags as a reference in order to continue to be tracked in the optimization of individual pages, do not rely on it to win the first rank elusive. For the record, Yahoo! apparently continue to use the keyword meta tags, although Bing no decision about it. Keeping the keyword meta tag may offer some assurance, but only in case if only a search engine such factors enter into the algorithm.

Meta descriptions

But that does not mean bad SEO. You can focus on SEO factors, such as building a high authority links, and get equally good results.
