Beda Antara Web Design dan Graphic Design

Often we find a website that we are ugly, but it turns out, and many
loyal users. Not infrequently we find also a web site that have OK,
design it according to us, but not many who visit - let alone become a
loyal visitor, or even online buyer. Why such things happen? One:
because we often can not distinguish what is good or ugly on a website
because our assessment focused only on graphic design.
Many people mengganggap, web design is graphic design. Beauty, and
other matters related to artistiklah which the main assessment. So,
that determines a good web is not an eye. Whether the information
received by our eyes - and then distributed to the brain and processed
- to give the impression beautiful or not a site on the web.
Unfortunately, the one person with different eyes other people in terms
of beauty. If you work as a web designer - or other areas of art -, may
be satisfied with the design reproval why we make it a client in the
eyes but the eyes good client B and C.
Because graphic design may be spelled out on the eyes (and taste)
for the considered good or not, the graphic design is more work to "see
and read."
Instead, web design is wider than that. Web design is not simply "see and read." But "seen, read and USED"
Therefore, not a good web design should not only be measured in
terms of graphics (eye), but also ease of use. Not mean that graphic
design for a web can be ignored. Still need to, especially if it
concerns the image of a company or product. However, because web design
is to function "used", not the once-ignored factor is "easy to use."

So, if you are a marketing / product manager or other executive
positions a company which is responsible for online strategy,
understand correct this difference.
And if there is a web designer, web consultant, and other similar
professions: learn more about the online usability, online information
architecture, and other sciences that enrich the knowledge to make the
web easy to use.

SEJARAH INTERNET
Internet merupakan jaringan komputer yang dibentuk oleh Departemen Pertahanan Amerika Serikat di tahun 1969, melalui proyek ARPA yang disebut ARPANET (Advanced Research Project Agency Network), di mana mereka mendemonstrasikan bagaimana dengan hardware dan software komputer yang berbasis UNIX, kita bisa melakukan komunikasi dalam jarak yang tidak terhingga melalui saluran telepon. Proyek ARPANET merancang bentuk jaringan, kehandalan, seberapa besar informasi dapat dipindahkan, dan akhirnya semua standar yang mereka tentukan menjadi cikal bakal pembangunan protokol baru yang sekarang dikenal sebagai TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol).
